Since 2008, Monstermob Raceway has been charging ahead with not one, but several projects that once combined will put Monstermob at the forefront of motorsports and technology in South Africa. The first Company of its kind, Monstermob is a familiar name to most in the drift arena and with the teams continuous efforts we are fast turning one man’s dream into a reality.

Otto Graven is a man in need of little introduction, an entrepreneur, a visionary and equally talented sportsman, with immense passion and appreciation for cars, bikes and competition. Formally known as the Kimberley Showground’s, it was at this point that Otto recognized the need for a venue, a place where he could begin to lay the foundations and cast his vision in stone. He purchased the Kimberley Showground’s shortly thereafter and begun it’s transformation into a first class Workshop, Panel, Custom Shop & Race Circuit. Their main circuit has seen six separate extensions since it was built in the beginning of 2009 and is currently being extended by another 3km.

Pro Drift South Africa is another Monstermob initiative, a Drift series that is focused on bringing an international feel and standard to South African Drifting, still in a fledgling stage, the sport has only just begun.

In the next few months Monstermob is hoping to bring over some international judges and drifters to compete alongside the locals, all while educating them on performance, car setup and generally aiding the process of guiding us towards an international level.
