Signage.
Tell me a little bit about your signage. What significance does it have to you?
Well when I started drifting, everyone said that I was an aggressive drifter and a lot of people started calling me ‘Animal’.
How long have you been drifting?
Entering on 3 months now.
What made you decide to start drifting?
Well, I watched the movie first, Tokyo Drift, and then I watched the real thing. Old school Japanese drifting. That was it, I was hooked.
What would you say is the most challenging aspect of drifting?
I can’t really think of anything because every time I get onto the track I learn something.
What was your inspiration?
Adrenalin
Were there things you had to give up in order to keep up drifting?
Yes. My relationship took some strain.
What goes through your body and mind on a race day?
Somebody once told me: ‘drift like nobody’s watching’. I just try to shut everyone out and drift.
What advice would you give to new or up coming drifters?
If I can, they can drift. Anyone can drift. They just have to be dedicated.
